Challenge Category: Theme

The eighth of the 52 challenges is to take a photo that relates to the theme of light.

 

Challenge Explanation

Your goal for this challenge is to take a photo that illustrates the theme “Light”.

This week, light must be the prime focus of your image. When your viewer sees your image, he/she must think instantly notice the light.

My 3 Favorites Entries from the Community

I am choosing the 3 images based on 2 criteria:

  1. How well the image is matching the challenge
  2. The overall quality of the image

 

Feedback on the Selected Images

As we did in Challenge #1, it’s important to study photos. Let’s keep up this habit and do the same for the 3 photos I enjoyed most for this week challenge.

The universal symbol of love, a heart. I love how the focus is on the heart-lock, with the city below. And I love the edit, with warm & red tones.

 

Image 2 – by @annalisa_terenzio_photography

 

 

Second favorite of the entries, I love how simple it is yet powerful. The heart replacing the red light is so cool, and the splash with everything around black and white, and the pop of red color makes it even better.

 

Image 3 – by @eloise.chaps

 

 

Last favorite of this week Photography Challenge. The look between the man and the cat is so deep it’s an instant favorite for the theme of Love.
