The Photography Challenge : Wildlife

 

Challenge Category: Theme

The second of the 52 challenges is to take a photo that relates to the theme of wildlife.

 

Challenge Explanation

This challenge is pretty self-explanatory. Your goal for this challenge is to take a photo that illustrates the theme “wildlife”.

This week, photograph wildlife, whatever animal that may be. If you can’t find any animal around you, you can photograph pets.

My 3 Favorites Entries from the Community

I am choosing the 3 images based on 2 criteria:

  1. How well the image is matching the challenge
  2. The overall quality of the image

 

Feedback on the Selected Images

As we did in Challenge #1, it’s important to study photos. Let’s keep up this habit and do the same for the 3 photos I enjoyed most for this week challenge.

This beautiful building in Portugal is a masterpiece of architecture, and instantly evokes the theme of architecture for me. I love the vintage feel of the picture, and I love the Portuguese flag flapping in the wind.

This photo also perfectly captures the theme of architecture. I love the wide image, showing both end of the bridge. I love the bridge, and the tall columns on each side. And finally, I love the dark & moody edit, that adds to the overall atmosphere.

Last favorite of this week Photography Challenge. These towers are photographed right before sunset, the perfect time; it adds a colorful backdrop to the towers, and the towers are lit up which enhances the sumptuous architecture.
