This incredible, 5-star hotel has everything you will need: not only is the exterior and fantastic swimming pool wonderful, but I’m sure you will all be charmed once you enter the room, due to how clean, tidy, and spacious it is.

On top of this, you will be living in a peaceful resort, right next to a lively city, in which you will enjoy all of the activities you always wanted to try. Also, for adults, the bar by the poolside is renowned for its cocktails, so you might want to check it out!

Best Luxury Hotel in Zakynthos: Ionian Hill Hotel

Just because the Ionian Hill Hotel is my second favorite option doesn’t mean it’s a bad choice, far from that; it is actually absolutely stunning, but it suffers from its success and isn’t always available, so make sure to book your stay in advance.

This incredible 4-star hotel has all you need, from a magical view of the Ionian Sea from the comfort of the outdoor swimming pool to a very modern and tastefully decorated interior. The staff is top-notch and the service is amazing, and the accommodation as a whole is set in a paradisiac scenery.

Despite being my budget pick, this accommodation doesn’t lack anything: it has its own swimming pool and its on-site bar next to it, and every room has a view of the garden or of the pool. What I love most about it though is that it is ideally located, in a busy street with restaurants, cafés, and bars that everyone will love

However, if you are not interested in the busy street and just want to discover unique places or spend a relaxing stay on the Greek island, the city, and its beautiful port are only 10 km / 6 mi away from the apartments.

Best Zante Hotel for Families: Nomas Living

There is no better place on the entire island of Zante than Nomas Living if you are traveling with your family. This accommodation is simply stunning, from its modern interior to its perfect location and kind host. Let me explain myself.

First of all, the hotel is located right next to Crystal Beach and other restaurants and bars, and there are plenty of facilities in the vicinity.

Then, the host will help you with anything you need. Very reactive, they will have the answers you are looking for and can even give you tips on what to do in Zante.

The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, the food is warm, tasty, and traditional, the bathroom is very large and the beds are wide and comfy. Basically, literally, every possible little thing in this hotel is designed to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and you and your family will love that.

Overall, this wonderful 4-star hotel has a cozy atmosphere, is spotlessly clean, and is very modernly decorated. No matter your needs and situation, your stay will be a success if you pick this boutique hotel!

In all of Zante, there is no better beach hotel than Roula Kotsonis Superior Apartment. Trust me, it is the overall best choice, combining all of the most common travelers’ criteria, from location and comfort to budget and peacefulness.

This beach hotel has it all: as you must have guessed, it is situated right next to the sea, on the beachfront, and it provides its guests with free sunbeds, which is lovely in such a crowded area as Zakynthos.

Besides, you will get great value for your money considering all of the other perks: the view from the balcony is exceptional, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and the host is helpful and caring. Finally, another reason to love this accommodation is that it has been recently renovated, and is thus immaculately clean!

Best Party Hotel in Zante: Daphne Studios

When it comes to hotels for partying in Zakynthos, Daphne Studios is overall your safest pick. It is a 3-star hotel, fairly affordable, has an outdoor swimming pool and most importantly is perfectly located: right in the middle of Zante Town.

From this hotel, you will be able to reach all of the bars, restaurants, and nightclubs of the town, although there is also an on-site bar by the poolside. If you are worried you can’t sleep during the day to prepare for a better night out, each room comes with air conditioning and is generally speaking fully equipped.

What I would personally recommend for a successful night out in Zante Town would be to start the night in or near the swimming pool, at the bar, before walking into town and trying one of the many restaurants and bars you will find there. Also, there are plenty of marvelous beaches in the vicinity, so have fun!

Best Resort in Zakynthos: Lesante Classic, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts

Lesante Classic is another great accommodation located in Tsilivi, on the main street, and it is, according to me, the best resort in all of Zante. Its large, outdoor swimming pool is absolutely stunning, and there are even palm trees planted on islets within the pool, which I find immersive and lovely.

However, it’s not what I like most about this place: the restaurant is simply wonderful. There, you will enjoy tasty breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, all made with fresh, local products and offering a broad range of choices.

Besides, the staff at Lesante Classic is particularly helpful and caring. Not only will it help you with anything you need, but it is also particularly efficient and serious. Overall, you will spend a comfortable stay with your loved one in Lesante Classic, so just go for it!

Best Hotel in Argassi: Hotel Palmyra

With such perks, I am not sure I really need to explain why Hotel Palmyra is my personal favorite hotel in Argassi, but I will still do it, just for you.

When it comes to accommodation, nothing beats Hotel Palmyra in Argassi. Its incredible value for money, clean and tidy interior, and large and sunny exterior are what immediately convinced me.

This hotel is tastefully decorated, has an on-site restaurant serving traditional Greek cuisine, and is located in a street with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants if you want to explore other flavors; and, believe it or not, there are several Michelin-like restaurants in Argassi, so you should definitely try them out if you can.

After picking this hotel for your next stay in Zakynthos, you will of course love the spa, but also the on-site restaurants, bars, and swimming pool. There are even taxi booking services, tasty breakfast and other meals, and spacious rooms. Overall, 10 out of 10, and it could be the best hotel you’ve ever stayed in.

Loukas Apartments On The Waves

While Loukas Apartments On The Waves don’t have its own restaurant, they are still an incredible option for a beach hotel in Zakynthos due to the numerous options you have in the vicinity. Open until late in the evening (or early in the morning, depending on how you see it), they will offer plenty of choices and allow you to taste the best of Greek cuisine.

Besides, the staff of this beach hotel is particularly friendly and helpful, and they will help you with any piece of information you are looking for while serving you very quickly.

Finally, the rooms are very clean (and they are cleaned on a daily basis), there are parking spots for guests, the area is overall particularly calm and the outdoor swimming pool, with its beautiful view of the sea, is simply lovely. Overall, a solid choice!

Domes Aulūs Zante

Domes Aulūs Zante is for sure one of the best hotels for families (but to be honest, also for anyone else) on the entire island. It has a nursery for very young kids, as well as playgrounds for older ones, is very comfortable and peaceful for adults (and others), and is overall particularly loved by families, who rate it a 9.3 out of 10!

That’s not all there is to this resort though: it is for “slow” travelers (meaning those who want to take a step back from hyper-connectivity and busy areas and just want to relax) and eco-conscious travelers who want their trip to be ecologically responsible.

On top of that, the staff is simply lovely and will help you with anything you need, and there is even a primed spa for you to relax in!

ABATON Luxury Resort

Despite being centrally located in the village of Tsilivi (one of the most beautiful places in Zante by the way), this luxury hotel is very quiet and will provide you with all of the rest and peacefulness you have desperately been looking for.

Besides, you will find tons of facilities in the vicinity of this hotel, from restaurants and bars to shops, pool areas and, of course, the beach, the main point of interest. There is also a garden space outside of the hotel, the interior is clean and stylish and the beds are particularly comfortable; on top of all of this, believe it or not, the owner is really kind and caring!

Casa Del Mar

• Perfect for nightlife
• Lots of activities

Casa Del Mar is a fantastic option if you want to combine a trip to the warm beach of the Cyclades and to the buzzing bars, restaurants, and nightclubs of Zakynthos; despite this, rooms are very quiet, and if you’re not interested in going out at night, you won’t be bothered by the noise.

On top of that, there are plenty of activities for you to try next to this accommodation, as well as multitudes of restaurants.

Overall, I think Casa Del Mar is a particularly good and unique choice because of the many options it offers: from there, you have access to restaurants, outdoor activities, nightclubs, hikes, the beach, and so on. If you can’t pick one beach hotel for your next trip to Zakynthos and/or if my #1 pick is already booked for your dates, this might be your best option!

I know this doesn’t fit everyone’s needs, especially couples, but if you are looking for a lively place with plenty of activities to choose from, Dali Hotel is the perfect place for you.

Don’t worry, that’s not all there is to this very charming hotel, as it offers romantic views of the marina and the rest of the sea, and is overall very modernly decorated and will make you feel welcomed in Zante.

This accommodation is located right by the seaside, only a couple of minutes away from the beach. Its rooms either overlook the sea or stare at the mountains, both of which are marvelous. Its general location is also particularly good: located right next to the center of Zante Town, you will find plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity, as well as multitudes of activities such as the harbor, museums, and beautiful natural landscapes.

Lithies Hotel

• Magical atmosphere
• Picturesque area

Lithies Hotel truly has a unique feel to it. It is a beautiful hotel with top-notch staff and service, and you will definitely spend a comfy stay there. The views are absolutely stunning and the location is ideal: from the hotel, you will be able to explore all of the northern portions of Zante (much calmer and sometimes more interesting to visit than the rest of the island), and you will be in a remote location from which you can enjoy a truly relaxing stay.

Believe it or not, this hotel is held by a local family, and they are particularly energetic and positive. Also, rooms are pretty spacious, and the accommodation as a whole is located right next to a beautiful beach, in a picturesque area.

The Bay Hotel & Suites

If you want a resort more than a hotel in general, The Bay Hotel & Suites also have all you need for a trip to Zante: they have a beautiful swimming pool furnished with loungers and parasols, a satellite TV, and a fridge in every room, as well as air conditioning units, which are particularly necessary for such a hot country as Greece, especially in the summer.

At The Bay Hotel & Suites, you will be able to enjoy not one but two restaurants, one indoor and one outdoor, where you will try a buffet-style breakfast every morning, while the on-site bar serves snacks, drinks, and coffee throughout the entire day.

What I love most about this accommodation though is the fact that it is set in a peaceful and paradisiac scenery: surrounded by gardens, staring at the deep blue sea and basking in the sun, you will love your stay in this resort.

If you are looking for another family-friendly hotel in Zakynthos, hear me out: situated only 500 m / 1,640 ft away from the center of Laganas Town, the Poseidon Beach Hotel has a fantastic location. It also boasts a beautiful outdoor swimming pool (with a smaller one for children) surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas, both free (except the ones on the beach… because yes, there is a neighboring beach, as the name of the hotel suggests).

This hotel is perfect for kids, with its playground, tables for table tennis, and billiards, which I know everyone in the family will love.

Overall, the Poseidon Beach Hotel is suited for everyone, has various activities, and is even located next to a mini market, as well as shops, taverns, and bars; no wonder families give it a 9.5 out of 10 for a stay with kids!

Zante Maris Suites – Adults Only

Zante Maris Suites is another great pick for your next stay on the island. This 5-star hotel is simply picture-perfect, and all of its rooms are spotless and tidy. Its architecture is modern, its views are fantastic and its interior is well-decorated.

If I had to pick the best thing about this hotel, I would go for its incredible service. The staff there is incredibly helpful, fast to answer, and caring. If you pick this accommodation, you truly won’t have to worry about anything, and you will be pampered like a movie star.
